Elbow and wrist pain
Tennis elbow (epicondylitis), golfer's elbow and wrist tendinopathies are very common overload injuries. They usually improve without surgery with well-targeted treatment and, in some cases, with regenerative techniques.
Book appointmentCommon symptoms
- Elbow pain when lifting weight or turning the wrist
- Pain or weakness when gripping objects
- Tingling in the hand (possible nerve entrapment)
- Pain that does not ease with rest
My approach
I assess the injury with ultrasound and treat it with ultrasound-guided injections, PRP for selected tendinopathies, or hydrodissection when a nerve is trapped.
Frequently asked questions
Does tennis elbow need surgery?
Almost never. Epicondylitis improves with conservative treatment and, in stubborn cases, with ultrasound-guided injections or PRP.
