Book appointmentCommon symptoms

My approach
I assess your knee with ultrasound to locate the source of the pain and suggest the right treatment: hyaluronic acid injections for osteoarthritis, PRP (platelet-rich plasma) in selected cases, or fluid drainage (arthrocentesis) when there is an effusion.
Frequently asked questions
I have knee osteoarthritis — is surgery my only option?
No. Osteoarthritis has many treatment options before surgery: exercise, weight control and injections (hyaluronic acid, PRP) that can relieve pain for months.
Does PRP work for the knee?
Platelet-rich plasma can help in selected cases of mild-to-moderate osteoarthritis and some tendinopathies. In the consultation I assess whether it is a good option for you.
